If you don't already have a Customer Portal account, you can do a Direct Order procedure to get to this point by following this walkthrough

If you already have files uploaded, you can select them to be transcribed by clicking the small square to the left of the file name, and hitting the green Transcribe button in the top right hand corner. If you want to order more than one file at a time you can select multiple files by clicking on each of their boxes.

4

A pop up window will appear saying  Ready to Transcribe! This will show the files you currently have selected and allowing you to upload any additional files you need. It will also allow you to enter any notes you feel would help in the transcription. These notes are meant for context and unfamiliar words. Special formatting instructions will not be followed if notes are entered at this point. Once you have all the files you need, click the green NEXT button.at the bottom of the screen.

  a) There are 3 defaults that only need to be changed if the audio is a different language or a different accent. Different languages result in different prices. English is $0.79 per minute without Timestamps and Speaker IDs. So if nothing else is clicked the final price will be $0.79 per minute of audio.
  b) Accent is not the accent of the speakers but rather the accent to be used for spelling in the transcript. So English could be Austrailian, British, North American, etc.

  c) At this point, if you do not want Timestamps and Speaker IDs, you can click the green Next button and move to finish placing your order. At this point you are ordering Human Edited Transcription.

  d) To include timestamps and speaker IDs click box beside the Timestamping &Speaker IDs feature option. The price will now increase from $0.79 per minute to $1.04 per minute, as it is $0.25 per minute to add Timestamping.

*Please note: Do not change the Turnaround time, as First Draft files are usually completed within 24 hours, if you change the turnaround time to 1 Business day by clicking the RUSH feature you are not going to get your transcript any faster, but you will be charged double the price, as 1 Business Day is our RUSH service and it doubles the reguar rate.
