Using WeTransfer

How to Use WeTransfer to send audios to TranscribeMe!

In the event you have an issue uploading a file to TranscribeMe!, or we are asking for a different version of your audio, you can send us a file directly using WeTransfer.

*Disclaimer: TranscribeMe! is not affiliated with WeTransfer in any form. WeTransfer is a publicly available platform TranscribeMe! has identified that allows our clients to send us files easily without the usual email provider limits on file sizes. This article is not a recommendation of File transfer sites of one over the other. The use of WeTransfer is simply a recommendation. If you prefer another transfer site, please feel free to use them.

How to use WeTransfer

1
When you go to the WeTransfer website the first thing you see is their landing page. Hit the 'X' in the top left hand corner to bypass setting up an account. Though they do have free basic accounts if you want to create one.

2
You will now see the second landing page for WeTransfer which will allow you to upload and transfer files for up to 2 GB without having to create an account.

3
You can now begin to upload your files by clicking on the "+" sign to the left of where it says 'Upload Files"
  • Once you click the "+" sign it opens to a typical navigation screen that lets you choose the file you want to upload from your computer.
  • You then enter the email address of where you want the file sent. For TranscribeMe! you will be sending the file to either support@transcribeme.com or sales_support@transcribeme.com, depending on which team requested you send the file.
  • You then enter your email address so our team knows who is sending the file. You can also fill in the title of the file as well so we can match it up with our ticket request.
4
Once you have uploaded the file and filled in the email addresses, the 'Transfer' button on the bottom will become clickable, and you just click and send. Our team will do the rest!
