Deleting Your Customer Account or Converting it to A Freelancer Account

You can delete your TranscribeMe! Customer Portal account by following these instructions:

Sign in to your Customer Portal.

Left click on the singular "person" icon next to the shopping cart in the upper-right corner from the Home screen once you have logged in to your customer portal account. If this icon shows 2 people, it means your account is attached to a company, and you will have to contact our Support team to have your portal account deleted.

Click My Account.

This will land on the Profile page of your Account.

As you scroll down on the Profile page you will see the Delete Account option on the right handside of the screenUnder Delete Account, click the Delete button.

Please note that clicking this button will permanently close your Customer Portal. All account data will be removed from our system.

If you have any outstanding orders, these will be stopped without refund. If you believe you are entitled to a refund for any reason, please write our support team at support@transcribeme.com.

If you created the Customer Portal Account by mistake in an attempt to become a Freelancer. Scroll down on the Profile page you will see the Convert Account button below the Delete Account option on the right handside of the screenUnder Convert Account, click the Convert button.
